New Abolitionist Vegan Poster: Plants Are Alive Too! People

Posted on Nov 23, 2015 in Advocacy, Plants, Posters, TAVS Resources, Vegan Advocacy, Veganism

‘Plants Are Alive Too!’ people –

why don’t you ever take up my challenge of going on a dog rescue page and posting about how plants have feelings too? When I post about cows, chickens, turkeys, pigs, fish, lobsters, lambs, goats and other animals you say ‘you kill plants too’ and equate the killing of animals and plants. So please, go to a dog rescue page and say the same things, explain how you think plants have subjective experiences or that maybe they might as well rescue tomato plants.

Report back with screenshots!

We’ll wait.

New Abolitionist Vegan Poster: Just as there is no such thing as the respecting human rights on a “part-time” basis, there is no such thing as “part-time” veganism.

Just as there is no such thing as respecting human rights on a “part-time” basis, there is no such thing as “part-time” veganism.

Just as there is no such thing as respecting human rights on a “part-time” basis, there is no such thing as “part-time” veganism. Veganism is an ethical position against animal exploitation and a corresponding way of living, not a part-time endeavor.

New Abolitionist Vegan Poster: Killing Cecil

Posted on Jul 30, 2015 in Cecil, Lions, Posters, Sentience, TAVS Resources, Veganism, Wild Animals

Lion King

Killing Cecil wasn’t wrong just because Cecil was a lion. Killing Cecil was wrong because he was a sentient being who valued his life. But *all* sentient beings value their lives. Therefore, there is no morally coherent difference between killing Cecil and killing nonhuman animals by living nonvegan. Start living according to your own morals. Start living vegan today.
